I had seen the flexible fluorescent tubing at Tap Plastics two years previously and remembered how cool it looked.  •    I adhered strips of blue LEDs behind the Gatorboard graphics, which I mounted on wood standoffs.
        
      
     
    
      
      
        
          
The Coke machine and phone were contour cut on ARC Document Solution’s CNC table from my Photoshop and Illustrator files.   •    Vinyl installation would have jeopardized the deadline, so I had the back and side panels printed on white 1/4” gator, sized for the existing cabinet. I was given a two-week deadline to design, fabricate and install a display that explained the “Internet of Things.”   •    My first question was, “What is the Internet of Things?” I’d never heard or read about the term before that staff meeting.   •   The deadline was absolute; once the semi-trailer trucks arrive to take the displays, there's no (inexpensive) way to complete them..
