I had seen the flexible fluorescent tubing at Tap Plastics two years previously and remembered how cool it looked. • I adhered strips of blue LEDs behind the Gatorboard graphics, which I mounted on wood standoffs.
The Coke machine and phone were contour cut on ARC Document Solution’s CNC table from my Photoshop and Illustrator files. • Vinyl installation would have jeopardized the deadline, so I had the back and side panels printed on white 1/4” gator, sized for the existing cabinet. I was able to hide all the wiring behind them.
Amazing origin story…and now the functionality and utility has come full circle.
